The train to Acapulco
Stops at Slough and Vera Cruz,
Why it doesn't take in Brighton
Is a point I often muse.
But there will be points a-plenty
On your journey round the globe
As you hurtle down the tracks
In your suit and your bathrobe.

I can recommend the salmon
In the first class dining car,
It comes fresh from Aberdeenshire,
So it travels wide and far.
And the radish in the salad
Is as fine as you will find.
It's a source of sheer amazement
How it complements roast hind.

3. The Train To Acapulco
(Heikkilä - McGowan) Jore has the blues on the way to Mexico. Great idea to make this a blues. Hopefully no one will notice my lyrics.... --Davy

Did I play blues? I didn't realize that, but if Davy says so, it must be so - he is the one who knows about blues. --Jore
